Health & Safety Response & Protocols

We have updated these guidelines to show what Camp Wise may look like if it were to begin tomorrow. However, there may be changes to guidelines between now and the start of Spring or Summer Camp. Our protocols will reflect those changes. Revised 01/24/2024

Updated 01/24/2024:

  • Sick Campers/Staff: Any staff or campers that present any signs of sickness will be asked to not come to camp, or will be sent home if symptoms show and persist onsite. Parents will have 45 minutes to pick-up their child if they are sent home, and will isolate in a designated space until they are picked-up. Camp Wise Staff are encouraged to self-monitor symptoms and check-in with their supervisor or Camp nurse if they are not feeling well. We do not prorate for missed days or weeks.

  • Mental Health at Camp Wise: Camp Wise is dedicated to promoting the Mental, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual Health (MESSH) of our community. This includes wellness checks with campers and staff, and updating parents/guardians when campers are struggling with their MESSH. Check back for more information on what Camp Wise is doing to support your child.

  • Parents and staff agree to adhere to these policies, however they may change, when registering for Camp Wise.
