Tatiana is an LA native who grew up at Stephen Wise Temple and Elementary School, and studied Child and Adolescent Development at California State University, Northridge. Tatiana is the Director of Camp Wise and Temple Youth, running many of our Religious School offerings for K-12th grade such as WTY, Camp Wise Sundays, and the Madrichim Program. Tatiana joined Camp Wise in 2009 and has been a Director at Camp since 2015. She is eager to welcome back every new and returning camper and staff member this year and continue growing our Wise programs and community!

Unit Heads 2024
Unit Heads provide additional support for camp staff, campers, and on field trips as additional adults! Our team of Unit Heads, all post-grad adults, come to camp with additional experience in the field, and all from different backgrounds. These hand-picked individuals come to us with years of experience at Camp Wise, classroom experience, management experience, or a specialized interest in child and adolescent development, therapy, and psychology!
MESSH Team 2025
Camp Wise LA is in its 3rd year of the “Yedid Nefesh” Initiative through the Foundation for Jewish Camp. This initiative provides financial and programmatic support for camps to address mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health (MESSH) in holistic ways—supporting the hiring of qualified mental health professionals, enhancing counselor training, integrating wellness programming into activity areas, and developing other ways to create cultural change within our camp community year-round.
Counselors
Camp Wise Counselors are highly trained staff members, many of whom grew up at camp and have returned to contribute positively to their community. Camp Wise counselors act as siblings, friends, supervisors, tour guides, coaches, artists, and our adult staff are Red Cross certified First Aid and CPR responders! All of our staff are cleared thoroughly through industry standard national background checks. Many camp wise staff members also work during the year at the many other CYE programs at Wise.
