We are happy to send you a brochure or calendar. To request one, just e-mail us at CampWise@WiseLA.org. If you have any further questions you can't find here, please contact us.

I'd like to see the camp. Do you offer tours?
Since Camp Wise is located on an Elementary and Nursery School campus, we can only offer private tours by appointment during March – June. Due to limited space, we recommend you register and pay to hold your child's space and then schedule a tour.

How does the "choose-your-own-week" program work?
This summer there will be seven weeks of camp for Nursery School-Grade 6. Instead of sessions, you can choose the weeks you want to attend starting with a minimum of three weeks and a maximum of seven weeks. At the time of registration you must choose your minimum three weeks. You can add or change your weeks based on availability.

The camp hours are 9 AM-3:15 PM Counselors are up at morning carpool helping campers get out of cars beginning at 8:45 PM and remain at afternoon carpool until 3:30 PM. We have early morning drop off available from 8:15 AM-8:45 AM for an additional charge. Every Monday campers meet in their room downstairs. Tuesday through Friday campers meet in Zeldin-Hershenson Hall for our morning circle to welcome the new day and gather as a community.

Where do campers get picked up from at the end of the day?
Campers sit in the arbors, in the shade, while they wait for their name to be called over the loud speaker. Cars will be directed through the circle, please make sure to follow the directions given to ensure everyone’s safety. Counselors are present to help campers into cars.

How is community achieved through a program that allows families to choose their weeks?
At Camp Wise we pride ourselves in the rituals we follow. Our weeks always begin with getting to know your groups and our weeks end with welcoming in Shabbat. While our themes may change, the structure of our schedules stays the same each week. Field trip days are always on the same days each week campers participate in the routine activities. As well, we have many of our returning counselors who establish strong relationships with campers.
