Ari Volterra, a Wise School EC teacher and Wise Religious School teacher, leads the kindergarten group at Camp Wise! Kindergartners are everyone's little brother or sister at Camp Wise and are taken care of by every member of the Camp Wise staff.s. Our goal is to introduce kindergartners to summer camp life by teaching them team work, person responsibility, and important social skills that will help them in school and at home.
We are happy to welcome campers who are entering DK/TK programs into our kindergarten summer program. This is considered a bridge summer, called Gesher. Campers will continue in the Kindergarten program the summer before their first year in Kindergarten.
Kindergartners get to experience all Camp Wise has to offer like swimming lessons from our professional lifeguards.
Special guests visit Kindergarten every week for a fun activities like the bubble show, reptile show, petting zoo, water slides and bounce houses, story book guests and puppeteers, Independence Day Carnival, and more!
Other activities available for kindergarten may include cooking, sports, music, wacky science, martial arts, gaga, arts and crafts, gardening and nature, and dance. New activities are added throughout the summer!
Every day is full of exciting activities like wacky science, cooking, basketball, gaga, street hockey, volleyball, arts and crafts, dance, music, rocket building, nature and gardening, Maccabia Olympics, snow day, water fights, costume contests, and new activities each week!

Every Grade 1-2 group has a Head Counselor (an experienced Camp Wise staff person who guides the group), Co-Counselor (a specially trained staff person with specific skills for this age group), and a Counselor-In-Training (a hand picked teen with some training and lots of enthusiasm) that help create friendships, foster relationships, and make a closely bonded community every week.
