How does the "choose-your-own-week" program work?
This summer there will be eight weeks of camp for Preschoolers and seven weeks of camp for Kindergarten-Grade 6. Instead of sessions, you can choose the weeks you want to attend starting with a minimum of three weeks and a maximum of seven weeks. At the time of registration you must choose your minimum three weeks. You can add or change your weeks based on availability.

Every Monday campers meet in their room downstairs. Tuesday through Friday campers meet in the brand new Katz Pavilion for our morning circle to welcome the new day and gather as a community.

Each grade has a set schedule of activities when they are on campus, where campers get a chance to try out a variety of activities each day and week at Camp Wise. However, some weeks allow for an allotted time where campers may choose one of four activities for an extended period of time led by some of their favorite counselors and specialists!

How is community achieved through a program that allows families to choose their weeks?
At Camp Wise we pride ourselves in the rituals we follow. Our weeks always begin with getting to know your groups and our weeks end with welcoming in Shabbat. While our themes may change, the structure of our schedules stays the same each week. Field trip days are always on the same days each week campers participate in the routine activities. As well, we have many of our returning counselors who establish strong relationships with campers.
