Camp Wise Aquatics
The Aquatics Department runs a first-class, well-supervised and structured program, operated by trained, certified, and experienced lifeguards and Wise School Aquatics Director, Max Jaben. All campers are encouraged to swim, and everyone is made to feel comfortable at their swimming level. The pool is also heated to a comfortable 85 degrees. The aquatics department is fully responsible for the safety and activities of all swimmers.
Swim Days for Kindergarten through Grade 6:
Kindergarten: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
Grades 1 & 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
Grades 3-6: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Please bring a bathing suit, towel, water shoes, and sunscreen (and hair band for below shoulder length hair) on swim days.
Campers must apply sunscreen to themselves. Sunscreens in a spray or stick form are easily applicable and recommended.
Grades K-2: Swim time involves group instructional swim. Campers are tested before they enter the pool and are then grouped together based on their swimming level.
Grades 3-6: Swim time includes free swim and pool games. If campers don't feel like swimming when they get up in the morning, they should still bring their bathing suit with them - they may change their minds! Please note: the swim schedule is subject to change.
After Camp Swim Lessons
Semi-private lessons and swim team are available this summer during the weeks of camp (June 20-August 5). Lessons are 30 minutes each, Monday-Thursday from 3pm-5pm.
Please contact Max Jaben in the aquatics department for additional information about the swim program and after camp swim lessons.
